Pacific News
My second stay in New-Caledonia in 2019 was much longer than 5 months... because Covid. 19 months !
1 year have passed since I went in Irak on June 21, an unbelievable trip. I love Middle East culture history.
Then I staid few months in France, family, friends and work in Avignon and around Annecy. Quite busy. Too quick, Always in mouvement... too much. It's crazy but fun.
Last march I went back to Wallis for a third locum mission. Always a lot of work as single pharmacist at hospital and 4 dispensaries 12.000 habitants, 2 Islands. And local difficulties, Epidemic flew and second Covid epidemic after the end of quarantine protection during 1 year without Covid. Exhausting but interesting.
I'm taking a few days rest in Nouméa. Yesterday I slept 12 hours non stop ! Relaxing.
Now I can take time to write in my little and calm studio by the shore at Baie des Citrons.
I enjoy to scuba dive in this Pacific area. It's really great. Next week I'll dive as much as possible.
Then I'll be working 2 weeks in a small pharmacy in Plum a tiny village south of Nouméa (45mn). My friend Matthieu, the owner of the pharmacy, is taking Australian gold coast holidays with Cecile and their 2 kids Oscar and Josephine. I'm a kind of uncle for them. We had a nice evening yesterday night, pizza of his own and white wine, speaking a lot.
